We take numerous precautions to guarantee quality to our customers but the certification from 'Informed By Sport' is used as a final screening process for our end to end operations. What is Informed Sport?
Informed-Sport is a global quality assurance program for nutrition products, suppliers to the performance nutrition industry, and supplement manufacturing facilities. The program certifies that every batch of a supplement product and/or raw material that bears the Informed-Sport logo has been tested for banned Substances by LGC's world-class sports anti-doping laboratory.
Why?
Research has shown that some supplement products have been found to be contaminated with low levels of substances that are prohibited by WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency) and other sporting bodies. The Informed-Sport programme aims to work closely with supplement manufacturers and suppliers by reviewing the quality systems they have in place at the manufacturing facility and by providing high quality analytical testing for products and ingredients.
The batch testing program offers two variations of their testing procedure and we have opted to only use the elite screening process " Informed Sport" on our full range, giving you market leading taste and mix-ability alongside structured nutrition. Through this rigorous procedure we can use both tested certification logos so that our customers in elite sport or the everyday fitness enthusiast can be assured that they can refuel safe with high quality supplementation from Supreme Nutrition.
How?
A thorough review of quality assurance systems, raw materials, and supply chain is carried out to ensure highest quality is provided consistently to all of our customers. This is achieved by performing the following checks on every batch produced by Supreme Nutrition:
1. Product evaluation including formulation, label claims, nutritional labelling, contaminant testing, etc.
2. Raw material evaluation at each production site
3. Review of accreditations held by the manufacturing and packing facility, such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
4. Quality system and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) review for raw material storage and handling, review of SOPs for production and packaging, equipment cleaning, staff training, product traceability, etc.
4. Raw material supplier assessment
5. Finished goods storage and distribution evaluation.
