Protein Cheesecake Recipe

Sometimes we just want to eat something that tastes good. Unfortunately its not always good for us but what if we could make great tasting cakes that were healthy? We're not saying you should eat this entire cheesecake to yourself but its definitely a healthier version of an all time classic. We've used our Strawberries and Cream Whey Concentrate but feel free to mix it up with our other flavours! 

 

What you need:

250g Digestive Biscuits

100g Avocado Oil Butter (melted)

1 Vanilla pod

300g Quark

300g Cream Cheese

30g Supreme Nutrition Strawberries & Cream Whey Concentrate

70g Icing sugar

285ml pot of cream

For the Toppping

400g Berries of choice

25g Icing Sugar

Method:

To start – begin with the base. Butter and line a 23 - 25cm loose bottom tin with baking paper. Crumble the digestives and pour in a bowl, adding the melted butter. Mix together thoroughly and add them to the tin – press down firmly to create an even layer. Chill in the fridge for 1 - 2 hours until firmly set.

Scrape the seeds out of the vanilla pod and mix together with the quark, cream cheese, protein powder, and icing sugar. Mix with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the pot of cream and mix until all combined. Spoon on the mixture on top of the base and leave to set in the fridge overnight.

3.

When ready to serve – remove from tin and puree half of the berries of choice with a tablespoon full of icing sugar. Add the rest of the berries and the puree to top the cheesecake off.
